Heather, who is releasing her writing and directorial debut Half Magic later this year, heralded her return to British screens in a set of adverts which premiered on 9th March during the mid-way commercial break during ITV’s Emmerdale. In the first of a series of six tongue-in-cheek commercials that capture the random fun of casino playing, viewers will see the two-time SAG Award nominee perfecting her northern accent and offering the director suggestions for character development.

The Foxy character is renowned for eccentric dance moves, snappy dressing and smooth northern charm, however, the person behind the persona has always been a closely guarded secret.

Heather is now the face of Foxy Bingo and Casino, with the new partnership running into 2018. The announcement is the latest step in a brand realignment with Foxy recently announcing an end to its long-standing sponsorship of The Jeremy Kyle Show.
